Is It Bad/dangerous To Be Upping Pre-meal Short Acting Insulin Doses?
Got diagnosed last month with immunotherapy-induced T1D, as a result of immunotherapy treatment (Keytruda) for recurrence of synchronous uterine and ovarian cancers (tried to avoid repeat of 6-month-long chemotherapy). Odds of T1D side effect are 0.5% but I got it. It’s been a month since my surprising diagnosis and I am still wrapping my head and arms around everything.
