My mother needed to gain weight after her LADA diagnosis. Her doctor had her drink a meal replacement shake like Glucerna, each day in addition to her normal diet. I forget which meal she drank it with, but I don't know if that really matters. The main thing is, it added the extra calories and nutrients that she needed. Maybe this could help you, too. Ask your endo.
