I use the Omnipod which has an activity button which I push for the amount of time I’ll be active and it regulates my insulin accordingly. I still have to monitor glucose but much better than b4…less low glucose numbers 😊 but always carry candy in my purse!!!

If you're on a pump, set a temp basal or suspend the insulin an hour before exercise. How much you need to cut back your insulin is trial and error, as everyone is different, plus different types of exercises will affect you differently.

check your blood sugar 30 min before you exercise and if in a good range have a small amount of protein before you start. If just learning how to manage, stop 30 min into your exercise routine and check your sugars again. Always bring a sugar supplement in case you drop - check sugar frequently especially with cardio type exercises
