My Doc just prescribed me metformin. I haven’t started yet.

I'm not sure what you are looking for as far as "medication" is concerned. Insulin is the primary treatment for Type 1, because our bodies do not make insulin. There are several different insulins available.
If you are looking to try GLP1 inhibitors, they were designed for Type 2, but some T1's have found them helpful. They have not been approved for T1 use though.
