Does Anyone Still Find It Hard An Always Will Be Hard Knowing You Have Diabetes For The Rest Of Your Life ? It’s A Everyday Mental Battle
I have had diabetes for 54 years and have survived all the complications associated with this disease! I learned at a young age to be a fighter, I started using injections at age 8. Stay positive, and also live life with a sense of humor as well.
i was diagnosed at 32, yeah, i think about this all the time. Some days diabetes gets in my way a lot, but we don't have a choice but to march on through. Try not to live there. Live the life while we're here!
I've had it 10 years. Very difficult mentally some days because it clashes with normal things you live with every day. I try to stay as healthy & positive as much as possible so I don't feel the heavy weight of the disease
Absolutely…. You are correct… sometimes actual war happens… but but but… that’s why we’ve created and joined these groups. Ya know….. normal( lol…. Not chosen like us) have these days too! Head up my friend…. We are here….ALWAYS…..♥️♥️♥️♥️
More and more each day. I am 68 years old and have been dealing with this disease since my early twenties. Fortunately, it is just starting to get worse. My endocrinologist thinks that it was at least producing a little insulin, but now have stopped. Next month will will be starting on an insulin pump. I have to wait because I also need to switch CGM s from the Libre 2 to Dexcom G6.
