Has Anyone Ever Had Issues Controlling Their Blood Sugar The Day After Their Doctor Changed Their Dose Of Long Acting Insulin?

Yes. Novolin N - I used a fast acting insulin to help level out what more exercise and diet control didn't make better. Now I use a pump. Humalog acts much more predictably than type R insulin. It doesn't always work.

I attempt the change for 3 days and then adjust it myself but I’d advise contacting your Dr after the 3 days if it doesn’t change your control the way you want it and how your Dr thought it would…3 day trial !
