I have type 1. I don't have a pancreas. It was removed in 2012. I was type 2 before that since 2001. I have a medtronic pump but am getting a T Slim next week. Can't wait.

I have medicare with Cigna prescription coverage and Cigna does cover the omnipod 5. Before I switched my prescription coverage I had Wellcare and they do not cover the omnipod.

I have Medicare and, BC/BS and RX is Aetna. Since Omnipod is part D it isn't covered in Aetna formulary since it is a tier 4 prescription . Initial cost is $425, then $291 a month. I can't afford that.
