Happy Saturday!!! Had A Big Cancer Treatment Yesterday…and Am Crushing The First 24-hours Following It!
In my Dex graph the solid purple lines are Humalog from my pump, the patterned purple lines are Regular from a syringe for protein, and the heart marks the dose of thermonuclear meds 😜!
It’s been a good 24-hours!!! This is what I aim for. Normal non-diabetic blood sugars 24/7/365. 65-125 is the goal!!!
How’s your Saturday starting off?
Which pump are you using,?
Why did you stop with MDI if you were having great results???
Have you ever basal tested to get basal dialed in?? Same with correction factors and doses for meals??
I eat low carb and high protein striving for normal numbers - so basal is vital!! I run about 80% basal and 20% bolus. Basal is key to success I believe!
Wow, that is amazing! I was able to achieve "normal" blood sugars when on MDI. Haven't seen steady blood sugars like that since going on a pump. Wish I could figure out why.
My Sugars Keep Go Very Low After Dinner, Then A Couple Hours Later It Will Go In The High 200’s. Not Sure Why.
I Am Looking Into Getting An Insulin Pump And Would Really Appreciate Getting Info On Different Ones.....also Pros And Cons With Pumps.
