Walking. In the last 6 months I have walked approximately 1.5 million steps.

I also find that exercise is a huge win. I go to the gym 3x per week and walk my dog 3-4 times per day. With the winter months, Iโ€™m planning to buy a treadmill for snow days.

My so has been struggling with constant highs over 300. The doctor added fast acting Lantus and already increased the dose. Switched his pump insulin from Novalog to Admelog and we have finally seen numbers below 300. Researched it and he is going to start taking magnesium and vitamin D. Those 2 are supposed to help maintain blood sugars and increase insulin sensitivity. Hopefully that will help!
