I Have Covid But Feeling Better Thankfully On This 3rd Day.
And, of course, my blood sugar has been higher than usual. Any ideas how to manage this while I am sick? I’m hesitant to put in additional carbs if I am not eating carbs???
Hi Kathy. I had Covid twice. I called my doctor to get his thoughts. I cut my carbs, drank tons of water and ate veggies and lean meats, along with chicken soup (loaded with veggies and small portion of noodles. I couldn’t take the medicine beginning with Pax, so I ended up taking oregano caps (essential oils).3 caps 3x per day for 3 days, then cut down to 2 twice a day for another 3 days. Last time I felt better within 3 days.
Covid is no joke. I ended up with long Covid and used oxygen 24/7 for 1.5 years. Sending huge hugs and prayers your way, Kathy.
