Has Anyone Else Had Problems With The Push Button On The G7? If So What Is The Cure?
I have had my husband help once or twice, but most of the time I can insert it myself. The trick that I found most helpful is that rather than reaching over my arm to put the G7 in, I lift my arm up over my head and then insert it in the back of my arm. There is a video on YouTube that shows how to do this.
Unlimited replacement if it's a sensor failure. Three courtesy replacements, for knocking off your arm by accident or similar situation, but if it is a sensor failure, they replace it for free
I was told a couple of months ago that Dexcom has a new policy and will only replace three sensors in one year regardless of the issues. I think this stinks!
I have requested so many replacements that it gets so very frustrating! I had no problems until probably beginning the first of this year. Yesterday I could not even get it pushed (my husband could not either) then I grabbed another one, very difficult also and once I got it to push in my arm it bled and my readings were so bad and unbelievable that I went through one whole bottle of test strips before I had to change the G7 again!!! Insurance only covers so many so I have become best friends with Dexcom customer service! Type 1 is stressful enough without this!! I would say they need to take this seriously?
I did have issues with the G7 insert button also. I have to push the inserter against the back of my arm hard before pushing the button.
I’m Having A Lot Of Problems With My Dexcom G7. The Readings Are Way Off. Is Anyone Else Experiencing This?
Has Anyone Flown With Full Diabetic Supplies Like Insulin Pens, Test Kit, Wearing A G7 And Taking Extra G7 Sensors With You On The Plane?
I Am Switching To The Dexcom G7. Do These Stay On? I See A Lot Of Ads For Overlays. Thanks.
