How Long Should It Take To Get Regulated On A Pump? I've Been Using Mine For @ 10 Years And Still Don't Feel That I Am Well Regulated.
A1c is 6.8 - 7.4. On MDI my A1c was 6.0 and I felt much better.
6/28 - I wanted to post an update. My new endo feels I was not getting enough insulin with my meals and has adjusted my i:c ratios accordingly. Evidently, menopause causes insulin resistance, so this adjustment makes sense. I just wish that I had learned this sooner!

I'm pretty knowledgeable in this area. You're welcome to contact me and I can give you tips and resources. Hope this is allowed.
A pump is a blessing and once you know how, you'll love its lifestyle flexibility.
Sadly, pump is NOT for everyone :(
@A myT1Dteam Member - I had the same problem with Omnipod.
Thank you, Marcie, I would like that. I'm not sure how to dm you from here, though. Moderators, is that possible?
I Am Looking Into Getting An Insulin Pump And Would Really Appreciate Getting Info On Different Ones.....also Pros And Cons With Pumps.
Wanted To Ask How The Closed System Of Dexcom 6 And Omni 5 Works. How People Do On It. It Would Be My Next Move From Omni Dash And Libre 3
I Am Interested In The OmniPod, I Would Like To Know About People's Experiences With It.
