The Omnipod I have tends to run above 140? Is this normal for the pod system?

The Omnipod 5 patch pump is designed to help manage blood sugar levels by using tubeless infusion techniques and working with a related blood glucose monitor. It adjusts insulin delivery every five minutes to protect against blood sugar highs and lows. However, individual experiences can vary, and it's important to work with your diabetes care team to fine-tune the settings for optimal control. If you find that your blood sugar levels are consistently running high, consult your healthcare provider to adjust your pump settings.

Thank you Dale!!
I’d like to be in the 120 range. Even 110. My Omnipod also prevents lows pretty well too. I like the pod system but just wish it could do a little better job at keeping my blood sugar stable. I know I have diabetes.

I use the Medtronic 780G, and it attempts to keep your blood sugar at 120. This setting can only be altered temporarily to 150, which I use occasionally if I’m out of town and alone. Although the 780 does a good job of preventing serious lows, it can take a while to bring down highs. I achieve an A1C around 6.5, but only be “lying” to my pump that I’ve eaten carbs to invoke a bolus.
