If you're using pens, you'll need to eat a snack before you exercise to bring your blood sugar up higher than normal. This way, the exercise will drop your blood sugar back into normal range. How much you eat is something you'll need to figure out. It will depend on the type of exercise you are doing and how long you are doing it for. Trial and error! It will take a little time, but you'll figure it out!

Yes and that is a challenge. I play tennis and drinking orange juice or other things during breaks is standard procedure.
